Ozzy Osbourne's Headlining Ozzfest 2006 Dates Revealed

Nine of the 10 Ozzfest dates that Ozzy Osbourne will be headlining during this summer's trek have been revealed. Ozzy will headline the bill during the tour's first night in Auburn, Washington, on June 29, as previously reported, and he'll also close out shows in San Francisco (July 1); San Bernardino, California (July 8); Chicago (July 16); East Troy, Wisconsin (July 22); New York (July 29); Boston (August 1); Camden, New Jersey (August 4); and Bristow, Virginia (August 6). The Ozzman's 10th appearance will be announced in the coming weeks.

While in fact MySpace does like to have sex with anonymous male partners...I have to say that it is a good way to get involved in local scenes that you would have never gotten involved in otherwise. Because the "big" bands you love...they have tons of bands in their town that are dying for you to listen to them...and if you add on to your favorite "big" band's space...those others will find you...and you can be introduced to some good music that way. Plus...if you don't know if you want to buy an album...the band usually has a few tracks available to listen to...kinda helps in making that decision. Alright I've said my piece.

First off why the f*** are we arguing about myspace? It's a known fact that every band is or should be on myspace. It's the biggest thing going right now and it's 100% free promotion. If bands are not on myspace they are really missing out on something that really helps bands especially when they're not yet big. Myspace has over 73 million, so it's gay? I think it's a great business that is being run and I personally am in a band it helps A TON!!! But for this topic I'm happy Ozzy will be in Chicago because I've never seen him live. Last year he didn't show up, so this year I might be able to see him unless he does it again.
