Ozzfest.com sent out the following teaser: "You've heard the rumors and now the truth is just days away." Ozzfest.com will be updated Thursday March 9th at 9pm EST with an exclusive Ozzfest 2006 announcement. You can expect to find out who's on the tour and what cities the tour is hitting. You can check out this Ozzfest 2006 E-card now and get the same info set to some Ozzy music. Of course we'll have the info here as soon as it's announced.

3 big touring festivals this year... who is going to go to ozzfest when there is sounds and unholy alliance. normally sounds wouldn't seem like much, but this year they made alot of changes and brought some death metal into it. ozzfest, pshhh, they should just quit while they're ahead and not have one this year because there is no way they could get any good bands on it. all the good bands are on the other fests

I would really like to see them get TOOL back on the main stage, also get SOAD, Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth and I'll be there, maybe Rotting Christ as well.

If you look at the tours closely, Ozzfest, SOTU, and UA. They all have differnt genres if metal. You got Ozzfest for the mainstream more popular metal. Then you got SOTU which has the more underground bands less popular bands. Then with Unholy Alliance you got Slayer and Lamb of God, what more should I say. Three different tours, with three differnt kinds of metal. Think about it, not everyone likes Gwar, or Lamb of God. Believe it or not, not everyone likes Slayer. I'm not gonna bash any of the tours. It would be stupid to, cause not everyone like the same type of metal. I think all three tours wil do well. I myself, prefer either UA, or SOTU. Depending on who does Ozzfest mainstage.

I have to disagree with posts 9 and 10. I appreciate your opinions, but I must say that the best Ozzfest was 2004. The second stage was great (Unearth, Lamb of God, Hatebreed, God Forbid, Every Time I Die, and even Slipknot). Superjoint Ritual and Slayer were awesome on the main stage. I am not into black metal, but even Dimmu Borgir were pretty good (I know they are not true or pure black metal). With that being said, barring a miracle, I will see you at the Unholy Alliance Tour and not Ozzfest.
