With their Roadrunner debut album, Ascendancy, still selling like hot-metallic-cakes, Trivium are courageously facing the challenge of an absolutely manic work-schedule in 2006!

Here's the latest: Starting from the end, the band's winter tour of Scandinavia supporting metal legends Iron Maiden sold over 80,000 tickets within a day of going on sale, prompting the addition of an extra show to account for demand. Dates for the rest of the mainland Europe will be announced March 6th.

AVENGED SEVENFOLD, BULLET FOR MY VALLENTINE and TRIVIUM have been confirmed as the opening bands for METALLICA on June 8 at Gelredome in Arnhem, Holland.

Next, the Florida-based band discusses Maiden and many more things in this latest interview conducted by the Miamist.
