In a new interview with www.htnet.hr, Soulfly frontman Max Cavalera was asked about doing this years "Ozzfest" with Sepultura", an excerpt from the interview is as follows:

"I have to ask you about those rumors saying that you might be playing Ozzfest with Sepultura... Is there any truth in that?

Max Cavalera: Yeah, you know, there's a rumor. And... from my part, my attitude is the same ? I'll do it if it's the right way and the right reason.

And what could that reason be?

Max Cavalera: The Fans. They are the only ones who deserve that reunion ? not me, not Sepultura, just them. Because they made Sepultura an icon, a cult band around the world. So I would do it for them, if they want it hard enough, not for the money and not for any other reason."

1. Yes, there hasn't been an "official" Ozzfest '06 line-up release yet. I agree with you there.
But 2. you seem to think that Sepultura isn't / won't fit the bill, and that Cavelera won't do a reunion show or two should the opprotunity even be presented.
When something's a "rumor" it has the potential to go either way, 50-50, .5, 1/2... probability striking a note there? High-school math classes? Anything?

Either way, I concur with most of the people that've posted here... get down to the ROOTS, BLOODY ROOTS - insinuate CHAOS A.D. and that'd be spectacular. Yet, Max's home to me will always be Soulfly. Sepultura's just a waste of what it used to be.
