Deicide Set Release Date of 6/6/06

Deicide have declared 6.6.06 the release date for their upcoming album on Earache records. The album, titled "The Stench of Redemption", is tentatively set for release on the date that coincides with the mark of the beast.
The album is currently in the preliminary stages as the band are gearing up to enter the studios with Jim Morris of Morris Sound. The band have demoed 10 songs which Glen Benton is locked away preparing his signature twisted lyrics to coincide with the brutally heavy tracks. This album marks the bands first recorded album with an all-new line-up who has been igniting audiences so far. The two-guitar attack of Deicide now comprises of Jack Owen of Cannibal Corpse fame and Ralph Santolla of Iced Earth and Death fame. The band are very excited to release this album, as Glen Benton has reported that this is one of the best death metal albums in years.
Initially, Benton reported that the album had Earache head Digby Pearson banging his head and jumping up and down like a young metalhead.
The band are currently preparing for a South American stint that will send the band through 6 countries at a light-speed rate. Deicide is excited to reach their South American fans that have always gone crazy for the bands performances in the past. Speaking of that South American tour, some slight adjustments to the tour dates have been made which can be seen on the
Earache tour dates page. Following the release of "The Stench of Redemption" a full European tour is planned

WOW bringing christianity into a death metal conversation is an ozymoron. Let me ask you one question who are you to JUDGE? In the bible it says only Jesus himself (for those who believe) is allowed to judge. I myself am atheist I believe if adults believe in Jesus they need to also believe in Santa,Tooth Fairy,Easter Bunny and the boogeyman. I have been told for years that Jesus is coming. Can you give me a precise date because it has been many many years now that christians have been saying this. What happen did he get snowed in,run out of gas,decided not to fly because of 9-11,please answer this.My problem with religion of any kind is you have to live by rules i.e. you can't be gay,cheat,lie,steal,smoke,drink (except wine),& what I have come across for many years every christian I have met is a backstabbing liar themself. They will talk about their fellow churchmate like the plague and not think twice. Then there is the whole abortion thing I will leave that alone. But answer me this since you are christain you are pro-life right? WHen is the last time you donated to your local orphanage my guess is never. So until you worry about the kids that are alive don't worry about the kids being born!!!!
On a lighter note I am going to save my opinion about this new cd until I hear it.

religion can be a quite positive thing for people. the trouble starts when people allow that religion to effect how they act to other pp theople. as the old saying goes "i've got no problem with jesus. it's his fan club i hate"
as for Deicide, i have yet to be disapointed by any think i've heard from him and i think it's cool that's they're taking advantage of this chronological coincedent.

Saying that Glen Benton And Cannibal Corpse needs to die or hang themselves is not a very christian way to behave is it. I'm willing to bet that you haven't read the whole Bible Have you "Glen Benton Is an Idiot"? Well I have and I believed all that crap becayse my family told me it was truth. Then I read the bible and relized it was Bullsh**.
In History Christianity has caused more deaths than any other religion. It's "my way or death" antics have caused people to be burned at the stake, Women and children and men alike to be beheaded or inslaved just because they dident believe. People had to lie to stay alive and teach their children that christianity was the way just to keep them alive. It's kinda like the trickle down theory, you force people to teach thier children something is the truth and then thinking that it is the truth they teach thier children that and so on and so on. if people would just stop and think about things they would realize that it is wrong. ask your self why the king james version is so popular. It was rewritten by king james ,a human, to fit his needs. if ever god had his words written in a book they are so completly lost that we will never know what those words were.
So untill you quit judging people, and start actually doing what a christian is supposed to do, you will amount nothing but a hypocrit and you should die yourself for being the same type of person who could burn someone at the stake you cold blooded piece of sh**
