Atreyu's as-yet untitled new album, which the group recently began recording with producer Josh Abraham (Velvet Revolver, Staind), has been brought forward to a March 21st release date through Victory.

once I had the unfortunate pleasure to hear one of thier cd's called "The Curse"
Its try hard death Metal and it sucked!!! they weren't that heavy and became annoying!!
And just take a decent look at thier apperance......THERE FULLY EMO, they look sad and depressed.
Instead of listening to these guys I'd rather listen to Fear Factory or Machine Head.
Thats real metal not this emo metalcore wannabe metal wussy junk!!!

Atreyu had one good single, that everyone seemed to like, and if you actually listened to their first full length album, it wasnt that bad. The second album however, was to iffy. They tried to hard on the album to keep their "metal" roots, and its terribly obvious that they tried TOO HARD, mixing in with the 3-5 radio songs on there to quote un quote "get popular" something slipknot, korn, and system of a down has done. Its also called by us real metal fans as selling the f--- out.

I have seen Atreyu in show, and I think they rocked. I don't think their emo at all. Maybe a little love metal at times, but not emo. If you just so happened to hear a somewhat sappy album, you can't count them out entirely. Just check out another one of their albums, and maybe you'll change your mind.

I think Atreyu is one of the most unique bands out there. I think there music and there lyrics are very well done. Though I have to disagree with putting them along the lines of Korn and Slipknot. Atreyu may suck to some of you, but they are not garbage like Korn and Slipknot.

If you don't like atreyu, get over your little self and actually listen instead going by what your friends think.
