Jerome Dillon has now officially left Nine Inch Nails. He's been unable to play live with the band for some time due to health problems, but insists this isn't the reason for his decision.

Dillon was hospitalized more than once during the current Nine Inch Nails tour and underwent tests for an undisclosed heart condition. He was hospitalised previously after complaining onstage of chest pains. At the time he was diagnosed as suffering from exhaustion and fatigue.

Alex Carapetis stepped in for Dillon when he left the tour about 3 weeks ago. More information will be posted as it becomes available.

Heh.
Josh Freese (of A Perfect Circle and The Vandals) can more than handle it....Jerome Dillon (to the best of my knowledge) has only been with NIN for a short while.....

It's funny though, 2 members of APC will now be in NIN touring lineup. Jeordie White (formerly Twiggy of Marilyn Manson) is the current bassist for A Perfect Circle....One thing you can count on as far as live NIN...spot on ultra precise live perfection....with these two seasoned live players you can pretty much put any worries to sleep.

Josh Freese is amazing. The drummer (can't remember his name) that's with Static-X is intense, too. Cool guys.

what did you childrens think of NIN' recent-ish album "With Teeth"? I really liked it a lot. maybe even more than the downward spiral...definitely better than the fragile, that's for certain.
