The Number Twelve Looks Like You Premiere New Single & Lyric Video "Trust Chaos" From Upcoming New Album "Howls From The Holographic Heart"

The Number Twelve Looks Like You have released their new single “Trust Chaos“, which is now streaming alongside an accompanying visualizer. The mathcore outfit are set to issue their first new album since 2019, “Howls From The Holographic Heart“, this Friday, October 16th. The release will coincide with a separate 20th-anniversary reissue of their album “Mongrel“, newly remastered for the occasion.

The band shared the following message about the new track on social media:

“Our new song “TRUST CHAOS” is out now. I think we spend so much of our lives trying to make sense of everything. Trying to follow some imaginary map of where we’re supposed to be who we’re supposed to become and how we’re supposed to get there. But life rarely follows the directions we give it.

We take wrong turns. We burn bridges. We lose years chasing things that were never really ours to begin with. We find ourselves in places we never intended to be wondering how the fuck we got there. And sometimes looking back you realize those wrong turns weren’t so wrong after all. That’s what TRUST CHAOS means.

Understanding that the detours are just as important as the destination. That sometimes you have to lose your direction to find yourself. Sometimes the chaos isn’t what’s standing in your way. Sometimes it’s what’s leading you forward. Turn the key. Here we go.”
