Scary Kids Scaring Kids Premiere New Single & Music Video "Something In The Water" From Upcoming New Album "RISE"

Post-hardcore/melodic metalcore outfit Scary Kids Scaring Kids have welcomed vocalist Albert Schweizer as their newest permanent member, marking the first time in more than a decade that the group have brought someone fully into the fold.

Schweizer isn’t the only member to receive a promotion to full-time status, as bassist/vocalist Colton “Coba” Westerman has also officially joined the permanent lineup. The first single featuring the now-solidified roster comes in the form of “Something In The Water“, which you can hear below.

The group also have a new album titled “RISE” scheduled for a January 08th release. While the band are now officially a quartet, guitarist Josh Kikta and drummer Kash Jaeger remain involved as touring/studio members and also contributed to the forthcoming album.

Guitarist/vocalist Chad Crawford and keyboardist/vocalist Pouyan Afkary commented on the development:

“We never wanted to force this. Albert has been a huge part of this band for years, on and off stage. This feels less like making a change and more like acknowledging what’s been true to us for a long time now.”
