Mental Cruelty Premiere New Single & Music Video "Frost" From Upcoming New Album "Echoes Of A Forlorn Land"

German symphonic deathcore band Mental Cruelty have unleashed their new single “Frost“. Riivata Visuals helmed the accompanying music video. The track will appear on the band’s forthcoming Nordic mythology-inspired album “Echoes Of A Forlorn Land“, due out October 23rd through Century Media.

“‘Frost‘ is Mental Cruelty at our most chilling, capturing the desolation of Norse mythology’s Fimbulwinter both lyrically and musically. Its plodding, atmospheric, and mournful tones evoke a slow trudge through ice and snow, stretching on for three long years. Think Rotting Christ meets Wardruna: a song that’s as blackened as it is coated in white snow.”

The album’s initial touring campaign will see the band joined by Ov Sulfur & Extermination Dismemberment, with Sun Eater and Arcanius opening separate legs of what will mark Mental Cruelty‘s first full-fledged European/UK headlining tour.
