Ted Nugent: "Sharon Osbourne Should Be Slapped Silly'

ContactMusic.com is reporting that outspoken rocker Ted Nugent is defending controversial comments he made about reality TV family the Osbournes, insisting Sharon Osbourne should be held accountable for celebrating domestic chaos.
Nugent touched a nerve when he slammed the Osbournes for presenting the worst of family life on TV.
But, despite criticism and comeback from Osbourne herself, Nugent is refusing to back down.
He says, "I was condemning the celebration of chaos, the celebration of anti-parenting.
"I think it's absolutely an indictment to the soullessness of our society when we can find humour or something entertaining about a family that has no discipline, that celebrates crime and smoking dope and getting drunk. I think it's absolutely putrid."
And he repeats his belief that Osbourne is a terrible mum and wife: "I don't think she's on top of squat except the bank account for her husband, that she takes advantage of. I think she oughta be slapped silly... She should be put in her place."

While I think Sharon Osborne does nothing of value for the metal community as a whole, is Nugent the man to be calling out anyone? What kind of family values does he hold...being a self-proclaimed womanizer??? How many times was he unfaithful??? And have you ever been subjected to this guy's rants about immigration??? He spewed some hate when I saw him open for KISS...what a great political mind he has. I don't think it is a stretch to put Nuge in the very far right crazy camp. Anyway, both these folks annoy me and should generally just go away...but let's be honest...Nugent is just jealous because his TV show was an utter failure...it's OK Nuge...go console yourself with a few hundred sticks of beef jerky.

post 8 was entirely too accurate for me to chime in with everyone else (as much as I f***ing wanted to).
Nuge is jealous and in many ways hypocritical (not the drugs or the drinking, I know the son of a b**** has been clean for as long as I've been alive or longer) he spent his young life being "chaotic" and promiscuous and a bad-ass rocker/hunter(!?!?) but this whole attack of his is to build some fame since he's severely lacking in that department...
Who here purchased a copy of "Craveman"?!?...
f***YOU!...liar, Noone bought it....Nuge's family bought it.
This is for fame and controversy. Nugent is --right-- but so f***ing what.
Half of America's teens are spoiled drug using headcases....That is not a problem thats going to be fixed by an Osbourne/Nugent feud.....But it may boost sales for whatever Nugent Industries is trying to sell you.
I'm not even going to waste the my time or yours going on about how much more drugs and alcohal have been a part of the metal culture than say...domestic values....Sharon Osbourne is a terrible person and a sh**ty parent and she's kept Ozzies career on lifesupport and brought us the (once great) Ozzfest....BUt she sucks and so do her kids.
But Nugent is no better. He's a lesser and differnt kind of evil and he's trying to cash in on sharons half-assed parenting and metal fest noteriety.
Is it wrong to hate them both because I sure as f*** do.
