Holding Absence Premiere New Single & Music Video "Reflection" From Upcoming New Album "Modern Life Is Lonely"

Welsh post-hardcore band Holding Absence have announced a new studio album and a new label home. After releasing three albums via SharpTone Records, the group have now signed with Sumerian Records for their upcoming full-length “Modern Life Is Lonely,” which is set for release on August 28th.
The band also debuted a new single from the record today, titled “Reflection,” accompanied by a music video directed by Zak Pinchin (Loathe, Bury Tomorrow), which can be viewed below.
Frontman Lucas Woodland said of the release:
“We are ecstatic to release our new single ‘Reflection‘, taken from our upcoming album ‘Modern Life Is Lonely‘. This album is our boldest and most creative body of work to date, so we can’t wait for you to hear the whole thing in August! In the meantime, we hope you enjoy ‘Reflection.’
A press release also added the following about the album itself:
”Modern Life Is Lonely‘ is a deeply human exploration of grief, love, identity and emotional survival in an overstimulated world, tracing the fragile line between despair and rebirth through imagery of broken mirrors, fading memories, fractured bodies and ghost-like connections. Across the record, Holding Absence wrestle with loneliness, trauma, mortality and the search for meaning, balancing crushing vulnerability with moments of transcendence and hope as the album’s characters attempt to reconnect with themselves and each other before time, distance and modern existence pull them apart completely.’
