Vehemence Calls It Quits

Arizona-based death metallers VEHEMENCE have posted the following message on the band's official website:
"8 years after it all started, we decided that now is the time to throw in the towel. It was fun, and we would like to thank all the people who have supported us along the way. VEHEMENCE was and is a huge part of our lives, but at this point its time to start fresh. The death of Vehemence has since spawned 3 new bands from its ex members. ABIGAIL WILLIAMS featuring Mark, Andy and Bjorn of VEHEMENCE (www.myspace.com/abigailwilliams), HE WHO BINDS HIMSELF featuring Nathan (www.myspace.com/hewhobindshimself), and as John stated “I'm looking for members for a new band and I am also available for touring. Currently I'm also affiliated with several other side projects which I will release soon.”
We still have a batch of new shirts coming this year, as well as a new remixed version of our first self released disc entitled The Thoughts From Which I Hide, that will be available exclusively at www.vehemence.com. VEHEMENCE may do shows every now and then, but will not be a full time band. Just keep checking our website as that will still be up and running."

if any one here even compares vehemence to hatereed i will personally slit there thoat, i live in new haven ,ct where hatebreed originated and hear their crappy repetative no talent bullsh** all the time. its f***ing garbage, ......vehemence is one of the most amazing bands there ever was and ever will be, and they are all great guys who are professional at what they do. there is not one band who sounds like them and every single song is truly original. by the way post 13 get your f***ing genres staright, half the stuff you lissted is POP. bottom of the line vehemence is amazing and even though they parted as a group they will always be known to me as members of my favorite band no mattar where they go or what they do.

Hi my name is Jamey Jasta and I am the biggest f*cking sellout ever I work for Mtv which in turn is owned by viacom/Cbs. I see no true punk in that. Let alone how you can do vocals to hardcore when deep inside you are laughing to the bank with your big sellout check. Soon you will be hearing Hatebreed on your local pop radio station or hell maybe even the disney channel because hatebreed is for kids and little girls aged 11-17. Plus they stole their sh*t from the true hardcore bands. Agnostic Front, Dead Kennedys,Black Flag,Gbh,7 Seconds. Any of you sh*theads say hatebreed is better you better crawl back into your moms womb.

What the problem is is these kids think that this is a Linkin Park ,Korn site so they can spew their hatred for every other band but what these little sh*theads don't know is that real metal started in the 70's and 80's you ask one of these jerriatic punks about Sabbath, Hendrix,Zepplin, hell ever Minor threat and all you will get is oh they suck. O.K. ...... Back to the point, Vehemence is one of the death metal acts to put AZ on the f***in' map! They kicked ass! it's cool to see their musical and song writing skills evolve into different projects, what an oppertunity it is for them to do what they have done with what support they had with in 8 years. Real musicians move on to create more music, Real metalheads keep it underground and don't start hosting "metal videos shows" and sell out like that prick Jamy Jasta! Fawk all that hardcore trendy, karate ninja in the pit bullsh!t ! Hardcore kids need to practice ninja moves at home with Daddy and not in the pit!

i agree with Jay. jasta is a whore for money and fame. one time i saw a kid doing ninja kicks and chop suey's in the pit at an amon amarth/behemoth concert and three other kids carried him out of the pit for it and told him that this wasnt a hatebreed show. this kid was wearing a hate bredd shirt and hat doing spin attacks and super punches. .. i was laughing so hard. im glad somebody put a stop to that nonsense.

yeah it was funny, it was actually a vehemence show too. but nathan had throat problems so vehemence didnt show up. i was p***ed. it was in providnce RI, dying fetus was headlining. great show otherwise. except for Revenge which is a horribal band in my eyes, they opened and sucked..

and there was a show not listed in RI where dying fetus played last instead of deicide.thats the show where this happened, but like i said nathans throat was f***ed up so they didnt play.

Vehemence is an awesome and excelent band, anyone who is even trying to compare them to bands like hate breed,in small letters that is, for it's weak feeble undeathmetal or black style needs to put those headsets on couple more times, to understand beetween the roots where this type of music originates from, it's called our life in agony. for ALL THE MTV CHICKEN CHOKERS. Death metal and Black metal music is not for listeners like hatebreed fans, very very strong and different distinction, please work on your ear wax. POSER
