Rare Chuck Schuldiner (Death) Cover of Madonna’s “Frozen” Emerges Online

A rare instrumental cover of Madonna’s hit “Frozen,” recorded by the late Chuck Schuldiner (Death, Control Denied), has surfaced online courtesy of his nephew, Chris Steele.
According to Steele, Schuldiner demoed the track during the early stages of his battle with cancer, a struggle he would sadly lose in 2001.
Steele shared a video earlier today of himself giving the song the “car stereo test,” and commented on the recording, stating:
“Found this today going through some things. Chuck recorded this in the early stages of his battle with cancer, I remember it well. Chuck sitting in his bedroom with his stealth and a drum machine. I’m not sure how many people outside of the family and a few friends have heard this but it’s all yours. Chuck’s version of Madonna’s 1998 single ‘Frozen‘.”
