The newly shared live performance of “Night Terror” offers a fresh preview of Dream Theater’s forthcoming live concert film and album, ‘Quarantième: Live À Paris’. The GRAMMY Award-winning progressive metal icons captured their November 23rd, 2024 performance at the Adidas Arena in Paris, France, during their 40th anniversary tour for this upcoming release.
While the set will officially arrive on November 28th, fans can experience it early through a one-night-only theatrical screening on November 17th, with more information available at amctheatres.com.
Previously, Dream Theater won the Best Metal Performance GRAMMY in 2022 for “The Alien,” and they’ve now earned another nomination in the same category — this time for “Night Terror.” The song competes against Ghost’s “Lachryma,” Sleep Token’s “Emergence,” Spiritbox’s “Soft Spine,” and Turnstile’s “Birds.”
The winners will be announced at the 2026 GRAMMY Awards, taking place February 1st, 2026, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, CA.
Commenting on this fourth career GRAMMY nomination, Dream Theater stated:
“We are truly humbled and grateful to receive our fourth GRAMMY nomination. After 40 years together, it still means so much to be recognized by the music community. When we began writing ‘Night Terror,’ it felt special to us on a personal level — so to see it resonate in this way is something we don’t take for granted. Thank you to the Recording Academy for this honor, and congratulations to all of the nominees this year.”
