Acres Premiere “Push Me Away” Featuring The Plot In You’s Landon Tewers - Announce Expanded Version Of “The Host”

British post-hardcore outfit Acres have given their latest album “The Host” a new lease on life with an expanded edition featuring three fresh tracks. Among them is the newly released “Push Me Away,” a collaboration with the album’s producer and The Plot In You frontman, Landon Tewers. Also included are “Take My Last Breath” and “Welcome To The Family,” rounding out what the group are calling “the complete & continued version” of the record. Solid State Records will be issuing this expanded edition of “The Host” on September 26th.

Speaking on their team-up with Tewers for today’s release, the band shared:

“‘Push Me Away‘ is almost like a confession of self-doubt, a reflection on feeling like you’re the weight holding someone back, and believing they’d be better off without you. When we wrote this in the studio, we instantly knew this was the song we wanted to have a feature on and we honestly couldn’t think of anyone better than Landon. We’re so grateful he wanted to be part of this!”
