Doomsday Announce Debut Album "Never Known Peace" - Drop Title Track

Oakland-based crossover thrashers Doomsday are set to unleash their debut full-length album, Never Known Peace, next month via Creator-Destructor Records. This marks their highly anticipated follow-up to the blistering 2021 EP, Depictions Of Chaos, which first put them on the radar of thrash metal loyalists. Never Known Peace will be released on March 28th, 2025 via Creator-Destructor Records.

Drawing influence from heavyweights like Sepultura, Slayer, Iron Age, Metallica, and Power Trip, Doomsday channel classic thrash energy while injecting their own raw and unrelenting style. They’re not just imitating their idols—they’re carrying the torch forward with full force.

To kick off the album cycle, the band has unleashed its ferocious title track, “Never Known Peace.” True to their reputation, the song is pure pit-inducing chaos, guaranteed to make you want to throw down wherever you are.

Frontman Charlie D. spoke about the track:

“I wanted this song to reflect how I felt being at my lowest while still having the most ass-beater song we’ve ever written. I don’t want to be a metal band that is afraid to talk about our most vulnerable moments. The feeling of being irredeemable, of being beyond saving and wanting to end it all is something we’ve all felt in some way or another; having this inner turmoil, never knowing any peace, and feeling like you’ve always have and will be this way. We got really inspired by Chaos A.D. by Sepultura with this track, especially by ‘Propaganda,’ and we wanted to channel the energy of that song, and I definitely feel like we delivered. Having something that you can both headbang and mosh to is the D-Day motto.”
