Former Annihilator Frontman Coburn Pharr Passes Away at 62

Jeff Waters, guitarist of Annihilator, has announced the passing of former vocalist Coburn Pharr at the age of 62. Pharr fronted the Canadian thrash metal band on their 1990 sophomore album, Never, Neverland, before departing in 1992. He later reunited with the band onstage about a decade ago to perform select songs from his era. Waters shared the news via social media.

The three best bands out of Canada from that era were Voi Vod, D.B.C. and Annihilator. The advent of Grunge did nothing to help Metal in the early 90's. Rest in peace Coburn. Your work on Never, Neverland has alot of gems in it. I have down tuned a couple tracks, one being Imperiled Eyes. See you on the other side brother.
