Jivebomb Premiere New Single & Music Video "Estrela"

Jivebomb’s latest single, “Estrela,” made its online debut today, February 18th. The Baltimore, MD hardcore band will include the track on their upcoming debut album, “Ethereal,” set for release on March 28th via Flatspot Records.

Frontwoman Kat Madeira cited Billie Holiday’s rendition of “Gloomy Sunday” as a key influence on the song, stating:

“This song has been written (lyrically) for a while, and I was on a heavy Billie Holiday kick at the time. She has a devastating song where she says, ‘Angels have no thoughts of ever returning you — would they be angry if I thought of joining you?’ so there’s an ode to that in ‘Estrela.’”
