i've got to disagree guys, every album seems to get worse in my eyes but "god hates us all" was definitly better than "diabolus in musica"(which isnt sayin much),sure the production has gotten better but thats about all i can really say about their new style, hate me if you must but "south of heaven" is definitly their best(yes,...better than reign in blood)

you guys must not be real slayer fans if you feel each album gets better, each is just a drop off in skill from the last, sure its still anjoyable but no where near what reign in blood or south of heaven were,i hate to say it but slayer just arent what they used to be

to be a "fan" is to stick with, look up to, and worship a band even if it starts to suck. "Just like Cubs fans" there are good songs on all slayer albums. there are also songs I skip past. so I don't call myself a "fan" of any band. cause I listen to the music... not create some kind of mocho image of the band and worship the ground they walk on. also you can't judge a slayer album with one listen. you must play it over and over before it really starts to sound "kick ass". It took me 2 years to buy Diablos.... cause I just didn't give it a chance. now I can't stop listening to it. can't wate to here the new album!!!!!!

i recken and hope that i sounds more like hell awaits becuase i think that is there best album the only bad thing about it is the productoin that why nearly all fans consider the godly reign in blood to they best so all they need to is have a good producer so get back rick rubin and now you shall kill kill killlllllllll again
HELL AWAiTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

According to Jeff it''ll be a cross between seasons in the abyss and reign in blood so i'm sure it'll kick a$$ again. Hopefully they'll go back to their old style, playing way more guitar leads because GHUA lacked lead parts
Slayer are still reigning like the dvd says can't wait to watch 'em live again, (for the 15th time)
B the way, Tom, conchetumadre, como estas poh huevon (that's chilenism)

slayer are wet to make there masterpeice i think that there next album well be there best wet but because of reign in blood it will be tricky to make a better album than that so i dont to get my hops up and that was south of heaven that made very disapointed but i know the fact in that and show geniuos there geniuos again f*** yea metal 4ever( reign-in_blood@hotmail.com ) and talk about it.

If Jeff says it's gonna be a cross between "Reign In Blood" and "Seasons In The Abyss", then who can complain? The 90's output was pretty weak, but still kicks the crap out of Slipknot and the rest of the nu skool. I absolutely cannot wait for another new record. The office I was working in got "God Hates Us All" and Slipknot's "Iowa" the same day. Listened to Slayer all the way through and took Slipknot out after 2 "songs". Once again, Old School teaches the kids how to do it. Slipknot blows.

late 80's and early 90's form will be tuff to recapture. "South" and "Seasons" are the peak in their career and if you've been to a concert you'll agree that these tracks turn the crowd hyper -insane. Prior albums were good but the stuff since has been below their best so while I'm holding out for another classic the odds seem stacked against it.

Does anyone know a thing about those rehearsals with drummers for Slayer?
What's going on?!
I don't want Dave to quit once more,'cos he's the best for Slayer even if I like Paul's drumming very much too.
I think God Hates Us All rules too even if it's a different Slayer than it was in the late '80s.
If they keep that level for the next album,I won't be disappointed at all.
I could understand saying that they've got worse if their last album had been named Saint Anger.;)

Dave Lombardo's back in the line-up so bet your asses that their new album is gonna rule! Don't get me wrong, Paul was dynamic and creative, BUT Lombardo's in a leauge of his own. I'm my view, the BEST f***in' thrash drummer of ALL TIME! HAIL SLAYER!!!!!!! SLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
