Within The Ruins Premiere New Single & Music Video "Demon Killer" From New Album "Phenomena II"

Progressive metalcore act Within The Ruins have dropped a new music video for their track “Demon Killer,” coinciding with the release of their new album, “Phenomena II.” This record serves as a sequel to their superhero-inspired album “Phenomena,” which originally hit shelves in July 2014. For those who caught the reference, the song draws inspiration from the DC Comics character ‘John Constantine.’

Comments guitarist Joe Cocchi:

“It checked all of the boxes by utilizing this glitchy effect we started using on ‘Phenomena‘. ‘Demon Killer‘ is Constantine. He was born into a world that never appreciated him. Steve is breaking down his character by talking about his internal conflicts and how he’s fighting evil with evil.”

Frontman Steve Tinnon had this to say about the Alex Kouvatsos-directed video:

“We absolutely love how this video turned out. The imagery and effects do incredible justice to the character of John Constantine, and really encapsulate his struggle between the forces of good and evil.”
