Saltwound Premiere New Single & Music Video “Hollow”
Northern Californian deathcore outfit Saltwound has signed with SharpTone Records after previously being associated with Good Fight Music. To celebrate this new label announcement, the band is streaming their new single, “Hollow.” The accompanying music video for the song was directed by Nick Chance (Enterprise Earth, Lorna Shore).
Frontman Spencer Timmons of the self-described purveyors of ‘Norcal violence’ commented:
“Compositionally speaking, ‘Hollow‘ is a track that seamlessly incorporates both the driving grooves and crushing breakdowns that Saltwound is known for. The lyrics of the song speak to the emptiness and vapid nature of people that would rather capitalize off of others success than put in the work themselves to create something, as well as how those people seek to co-opt an identity that is not true to what they are.”
