Korn are to call their new record 'See You On The Other Side'. It's their first since signing to EMI/Virgin and will be release in December. The album was produced by Matrix and Atticus Ross, and mixed by Terry Date.

I admit..some of it can be freaky, but frankly, I love Jonathan..my friends think I'm weird but I don't care. He is hot!lmao, off subject..but it's just that most people can't understand KoRn's lyrics or purpose..but some of us can relate to it and can actually really get into the music, sounds, and lyrics. They seemed to have pretty messed up lives in the band and they are trying to express that to all the other people and fans who buy their albums.

You know...the more I listen to Twisted Transistor, the less I like it....or maybe it's just that I've been introduced to other bands and my interest in Korn has dropped a little....Granted I will always love my Korn, but I mean their older stuff......Most of their songs I listen to are off of their first two albums...those are my favs..

It's an image; apparantly now were only allowed to like KoRns older stuff in order to cover up the fact that we all used to wear KoRn hoodies, while blasting out Issues; up untill Nu-Metal became uncool. Now we all have to listen to Lamb Of God, Chimera and Killswitch Engaged because they're the popular bands around at the moment. But don't worry everyone will start cussin' them in about a year or two, either that or proclaim they only like their old music.

I believe that KoRn has indeed made an artistic accomplishment, if not now, then definitely at one time, and therefore should be considered talented. Now, what you want to define as talent in your own minds depends entirely on you, but why does it always have to be about guitars, drums, and bass? Are not people who play the saxaphone well for a jazz band talented? Just because something doesn't suit your personal preference doesn't mean it's talentless, it just means you don't like it. I listened to the Razor yesterday for almost 3 hrs and with new songs they normally play them all the time, but with my luck they didn't. And the stupid school computers won't let me download anything. I recently bought the Korn Greatest Hits album and it's awesome! Every song on there is a song I LOVE. I don't see why they put Trash instead of Thoughtless on there but it's okay. Trash is a great song! O and the quality is MUCH better than that of a burned CD. Thank god for the music business. Anyway I can't wait for the new Korn album it's gonna be really good. Best CD ever! I like the direction Korn are going in but then again I've liked every direction from the beginning. Don't worry, Korn aren't becoming too pop-metal. Kmadd's (and others') undying hatred for Korn, always a source of entertainment, and the counter to this...the legions of Korn fans who come to the bands defense, often with a feeble child-like tirade (see post 172....what an idiot) but sometimes with something clever.
It's like watching World War 2 footage, one side pushes for awhile takes some flak, retreats, and the other side leaps forward only to get cut down by a similar means. The Korns fans and the Korn loathers strike me as a kind of balancing act.
Korn are what they are....A very, very commercial act that once had something interesting to bring to the table but for the last 6 years the material has gone to the sh**ter (see also Nickleback)...It's rubbish.
The lyrics are garbage, the vocal performance is half-hearted, the lack of direction, conviction or even real emotion is blindingly obvious (see also Metallica....."Load", "Reload", "St. Anger" dont waste my time or your own defending those albums)....
It's not fair comparing Korn to Metallica, because Metallica (their first 4 records) have come to be the metal bible for many. But Korn released a quality album once upon a time, Korn just fell apart like Metallica........only in fast motion.
So to the Korn fans who think all those who hate Korn are mindless....heh...."haters" (which makes me think of Limp Bizkit...which makes me laugh) I respect Korns very authentic and unique output (more or less their first 2 albums) and loath every bit of thier last 4 records.
If your'e familiar with metal beyond Korn, then theres no reason to like Korn....Theres nothing they do that some other band isnt better at.........

I didnt even know that twisted f*** had a middle name. You don't need to "remind" me that Korn are great. I was impressed (with the whole band) on the first record. But "creative growth", "selling out", "changing", "maturation" whatever you want to call it, killed whatever angle this band had at the onset.....
Now their a more digestable, less errie, less dark and less imaginative shell of their former self......I wish them all the luck on making a great record but I'm not holding my breath, not after 4 so-so to terrible albums.
