Paint It Black Premiere New Single & Music Video "Famine" From Upcoming New Album

Philadelphia hardcore band Paint It Black have inked a record deal with Revelation Records, and their upcoming album "Famine" is set to drop on November 3rd under this new arrangement. In anticipation, they've released a video for the album's title track, both streaming via YouTube and Spotify for you now below.

The album was recorded live to tape at The Atomic Garden in Oakland, California, with Jack Shirley as the producer. Additionally, they've enlisted the help of several special guests.

Frontman Dan Yemin expressed his thoughts on the album:

“It’s important to make things that are real, thoughtful, and not disposable. We don’t just put out a new record because it’s time to put out a new record. We put out a record when we’ve got something to say.

We’re a hardcore punk band, and the most important thing, more than velocity or volume, is authenticity. I’m shooting for something real because I want to feel something real and I want to yell it in people’s faces. I want to stir something in people, and I want to make music that I had to stir something in myself to make.”

“Famine” track-list:

01 – “Famine”
02 – “Dominion” (feat. Don DeVore of Ink & Dagger)
03 – “Safe”
04 – “Exploitation Period”
05 – “Serf City, U.S.A.” (feat. Brian Stern of Planet On A Chain)
06 – “The Unreasonable Silence” (feat. Dan Mills of Cold World)
07 – “Namesake”
