Sevendust Sign European Deal Through Roadrunner

SEVENDUST have inked a European deal with Roadrunner Records for the release of their fifth studio album, "Next". The follow-up to 2003's "Seasons" is scheduled for release in Europe on October (October 11 in the U.S via WineDark Records via Fontana Distribution, a division of Universal Music and Video Distribution). A video for the album's first single, "Ugly", was shot in Los Angeles, CA on August 28 and 29 with P.R. Brown (BILLY CORGAN, MÖTLEY CRÜE) behind the lens. It's expected to invade TV airwaves by mid-September. A SEVENDUST e-card, containing the songs "Ugly" and "Pieces", is available at this location.

SEVENDUST are currently making plans to launch a U.S. tour starting in January. Stay tuned for details.

Based on those two songs it's sounds like Sevendust are back in their old shoes......

Good stuff, that last record had me worried....It was semi-heavy but very pop-format song structures....This one sounds more like "Home" and "Animosity" to me, which is a very good thing.

Hopefully being on new labels Sevendust will get more support for better tours/better opening acts, I've seen them many times and normally they have some really sh**ty bands i've never heard of as support.

Agreed.

I once caught them with OneSideZero and Soil which was a really high energy show but the other 2 times I have seen them have been with half-assed acts like Pulse Ultra and Outspoken.
