Introducing Deafening
Hey guys,
I finally got round to introducing myself, my name's Sean , I'm 21 and I am a university student based in Johannseburg , South Africa. After listening to metal for many years I am glad to actually be part of a team that brings the news to all the fans out there. Being based in Africa I know exactly how hard it can be to get decent metal news , so it will be my job to not only shed some light on international news but that of the developing South African metal scene as well.
My metal taste is pretty broad and includes such bands as Black Sabbath , Judas Priest , Megadeth , Sepultura , Soulfly , Fear Factory , Arch Enemy , Dark Tranquility and yes In Flames to name but a few. That's the short list , after all this is only an introduction.
With the formalities now out the way I hope to get stuck into some writing, enjoy your stay here at metalunderground.com .

yes the metal scene is weak, but until we start getting the word out there it won't change any time soon. I am not going to get into a flame war with you about bands either , your music taste is your own.
As far as the buffalo shoes thing goes - I dunno who who used to hang out whilst you were here ...
And judging by your post , what do you have to gain by going all out at me ? You seem to be the one trying to get noticed.

I appreciate the fact that you have the ability to delete my posts etc., but you're missing the f u c k i n g point... the point of the matter is that there is nothing to report from South Africa, there is NO scene apart from the larger bands who come over from various other countries to tour and shiot!
So having this Kid contributing his own F U C K I N G mind numbingly boring threads relating to the RAVE scene in Joburg, has got to be the biggest disappointment and joke I've heard of.. Maybe you're all new superstar, Sean, can march around them under 18 parties in n*****ville and b u l l s h i t his way into childrens underwear... LOL
How has he managed to convince you that people give a F U C K about the dutchmen vibes, and that the music industry is pumping??? You're either the biggest bunch of clueless idiots, or Sean takes it in the A r s e h o l e from the lot of you!!!

Fortunately the Internet is a wonderful place, and an one's local scene does not have to dictate one's tastes. Defeaning will be reporting on his own favorite METAL bands (like them or not) as well as his local scene, international tours that come near him, and anything else newsworthy in the metal world that he wishes to report on, just like the rest of us.

my soul purpose is not to report on SA news alone, and when applying for this I did mention that the South African scene very much fluctuates when it comes to metal, at some point you will have like 4 bands and then nothing for 6 months to a year.
As far as the "dutchman vibes" go I think it will please you to know that I am of Irish decent and not Afrikaans :P .
As far as rave clubs and under age kiddies go, (HAHAHHA) you have quite an imagination. I think I have now clarified pretty much all that you have thrown at this thread.

In Joburg, all the "metal heads" (notice the inverted commas) wear buffalo shoes, which look like f u c k i n g cheese wedges, and tie dyed t-shirts... F u c k Joburg, and F u c k you Sean, you're a F ag g o t who's dying to be noticed...
You ain't metal, Sean, Judas Priest are about as straight as yourself, Sepultura are no longer producing listenable music with that gimpass Negro (Derek Green) on vocals, Arch Enemy is cool if you're into b**** vocals, and seen as Soulfly won't allow the original message board on their site, I'd dig to belt Max over the head with his own 4 string, Brazilian infested guitar!
Besides all that, the metal scene in SA is fakeass b u l l s h i t .
