the reason so many people can play that type of sh** nowadays is because of people like him, Hendrix, etc. Without them, there wouldn't be people like Wylde. Just click on that link, and you can read Wylde's own story about all that. Like it or not, and even I don't, you have to give credit where credit is due. Without most of the "old school" guys laying it down, everyone out there now wouldn't have a place to jump off from to create their own stuff.

We absolutely have no reason to ever stop paying homage to musicians like Mr. Van Halen. Yes, I said Mr.! Just like Dime, Jimi, Vai, Page, and so many more Edward came into this deal like a king. He followed his own plan he made his own style and changed it whenever he felt he wanted something differrent. He's proven his worthiness a million times! I am passionate about the mere adoration of such a supreme musician. He deserves anything and everything. Because he has shown the world for so long how much he loves the instrument he plays. Anyone willing to discredit Mr. Edward Van Halen has not a clue about music, metal, or electric guitar. Some thing's in life are just not up for debate. Long live Edward Van Halen Forever! You are loved and respected for your genius. This book will be greatly appreciated by the people that know what it takes to be called King.

Hey dzimmy, watch your mouth b****. And use some f#ckin common sense. That's Eddie motherf#ckin Van Halen, bro. And so what if people can play his stuff? Every great, important, groundbreaking musician has been copied, from Beethoven to Coltrane to EVH. sh**, I had a classmate growin' up back in junior high who could play Beethoven, Mozart and all that stuff note for note on piano. The point being, anyone can copy something after it's been laid out you moron. However, Eddie is the only one who can lay claim to that signature sound/style. EVH wrote the book, while many others simply bought copies of it. So grow up jagoff. sh**, if people like Zakk and Vai and the insane Holdsworth came forward to pay their respects to the man, that should tell you everything you need to know beatch.

Eddie has always been refered to as "King Edward" by his fans and even by his peers. Face it folks, hate it or love it, in the 50 year history of rock only two men have reinvented the craft. The first was the late great Jimi Hendrix. The other is Eddie. End of story. We lost poor Jimi some 35 years ago, so I think it' s about mothertruckin' time someone has the common sense to pay tribute to the only living rock guitarist to reinvent the craft.
Long live the King.
