Courtney Love Slams Dave Grohl
The Associated Press has issued the following report:
Though some have labeled Dave Grohl of the FOO FIGHTERS the "nicest guy in rock," Courtney Love would beg to differ.
"Dave gets to walk away unscathed and be the happy guy in rock, when he's one of the biggest jerks," Love says in the August issue of Spin, on newsstands Friday. "He's been taking money from my child for years."
Love, the widow of Kurt Cobain, and Grohl, who played drums in NIRVANA, have feuded before. Grohl and NIRVANA bassist Krist Novoselic became mired in three years of litigation in a dispute over the timing of the famed grunge band's box set, "With the Lights Out".
They settled their legal issues in September 2002 and the CDs were released last year.
The office of Grohl's manager, John Silva, told The Associated Press Monday that Grohl wouldn't comment on Love's criticism.
As for being the "nicest guy in rock," Grohl wonders where the title came from.
"I don't know. Because I don't do coke?" Grohl asks Spin. "I supposed it's not taking anything for granted and feeling lucky to be here.
"There's ... thousands of nice guys in the world! Maybe it's because I have a goofy smile and people are like, `Awww, he's like a little kid!' I'm 36!"

Well Love is the one who mishandled the Nirvana fortune that she inherited....Not to mention any money she made off of "Hole" and her movie roles. My sympathy went out to her for losing her husband (though some believe she was behind it....even though Cobain had a score of attempts on his own life, either way.....)
But now shes just bitter and looking for ways to stay relevant, and bad publicity is what shes good at, that and drug frenzies. I hope her kid comes off better than either of her parents or the poor thing is doomed.
Love should find someway to make some major bank (a few million) and then retire out of LA (cost of living is absurd out there, temptation is everywhere) and try and lead a more relaxed life for the sake of herself and her daughter.

She's got issues plaine and simple.She need's to make up her mind who and what she's gonna be and get over the bullsh**.If she'd managed the fortune she inherited properly it would not matter how much Dave is getting now would it.It was upward of three hundred million and somehow she f***ed it up.If I were her I would hire some people to #1 reinvent my image #2 get somebody like what's his face from Queen's of the Stone Age or Jack White to write song's for and produce my next record #3 Get back into acting (she's got talent in that respect) & last but not least #4 stay off the f***ING DRUG'S ! She had enough money to make sure that neither she nor her daughter would ever have to work againe.HUGE HINT THIER !

Courtney Love is complaining about Grohl taking money from her kid!!! Didn't the authorities have to take her kid from her because of her drug habit? Courtney...I think you should blame yourself for anything missing in your child's life...including a father.
