KoRn To Only Use Patterson For European Run

Band Photo: Korn (?)
As exclusively reported here first, KORN's replacement axeman for their upcoming Fall tour will be ex-OTEP guitarist Rob Patterson. However, KORN frontman Jonathan Davis revealed that Patterson will not be taking to the stage while the band performs. A statement from his personal site reads as follows:
"We hired Rob Patterson to play guitar for the European dates but he will not be on stage. We don't want to use samples or tape, 'cause that would suck. We are not ready to have a new guy on stage with us. This is for the first Europe run only. We have some new exciting ideas on how we are gonna play live in the future and I am sure it will blow your mind."

Yeah, thats kinda sh**ty....
It's not like their Slipknot or the Polyphonic spree and theres 60 people per square inch on the stage.
Plus these guys play large venues too, if it were a space issue I might understand but as their song went......."Good God"......
How childish....

What the fu ck is jon's reasoning "We are not ready to have a new guy on stage with us" OMG i just want them ti stop b****ing there in a rock band not a damn boy band head left korn fans were angry at first but they moved as should korn get over it and let Rob patterson play on stage with them, he's talented and all he can do is help.
Damn i smell the end of korn.
They just lost head there last cd blew and there indirectly disrespecting otep by not letting patterson play on stage with them there fools.

i honestly dont see it as disrespectful. the reason why he wouldnt want another person on the stage, such as patterson. is because one thing, hes not in the band...hes just been hired for the tour. and like korn said before, they are just gunna stick as a 4 piece band now. they dont want another guitarist, but for tours they sorta have to hire one person. Its better than having samples, which they didnt want to use, cause that would suck.

and btw...i dont think its a huge deal that head left either. as jon said in past interview on korn korner n such... Head didnt write anything on the past couple records.. head had wanted to quit since the Life is peachy to the Follow the Leader era. he became a drug addict and did jacksh**. so i really dont see the problem. and i agree with Kornfan94...i bet they are gunna be around for another 10 years or so. they dont have to prove anything to anyone, on how good they are..they have been in that band for years and have 6 major albums out and a greatest hits. they are already made. and i would actually love to see how they do with their 7th album. i think its gunna be awesome. well i guess we will all see in the near future how they are gunna turn out. but most likly ill stick with them as one of my favorite bands. since they have been one of my favorite bands since 1996.

i just made this name and after i post this im prolly never going to come to this site again. its so dumb the fact that people come online and they talk sh** about Korn. i mean who the f*** cares just grow up whats the point. i mean i guess you succeded into making write this about you but other than that why dont you just ignore them. im a korn fan im not obsessed by them at all i like alot of other bands. i like much heavier bands like killswitch, bleeding through, as I lay dying, lamb of god, ect... i also like punk bands Avenged sevenfold( really good also can be considered heavy metal), My chemical romance, Afi, I like audioslave godsmack breaking benjiman but i also like billy joel and oldies . i mean music is music the stuff i dont like.. for example Blink 182 and pop punk i dont go to there websites and trash talk them cause that would mean i have no life to surf on the internet and look for forums and talk sh**. i mean half the people are prolly 15. but anyways i want to see how the new cd is going to sound i think its a good idea to keep the band a 4 member band but the guy playing off the stage is pretty gay. i mean david when he broke his arm they had that other guy fill in for him. so they should just have someone fill in for head for the time being. then if they find someone else or whatever. and i play the drums and david f***ing rocks same with dave weckl and many others

Yea, no sh** ^ . Basically i know its hard to play with someone different, one new member to the line up changes everything, and after all that sh**, 6 albums and years and year of touring, how could it not be hard??? But their going to have to move on with a new member, and get over the fact f*** HEAD left...... Why dont they just pick songs that can be played with one guitarist, LIKE post 21, and then make up their f***ing minds later on..... IT NOT f***ING HARD TO FIGURE OUT

You know what...here are the facts...HEAD was F****ing awesome right?....Right! Well he's gone now and if Korn is still going to tour they need the assistance of another body and I don't give 2 sh**ts if he was not an orignial member of the band...he's obviously good enough in all areas that they hired him so how dare they say some f**cked up s**t like ooohh Rob...you can't be on stage with us because were not ready to play with anyone else. That being the case you bastards should not play. That's F**cked up. I really like Korn a lot but it's decisions like these that make fans take a different perspective on things. They can F**k themselves

if he really wanted to be on stage...he'd ask obviously he doesn't care and this guy sucked so bad that he got kicked out of otep i mean who the f*** are they anyway? i say bring WES BORLAND TO KORN!!!!!!! I have a feeling Head will come back one day. Korn is the most overall talented band in modern rock. Nobody can SING like Jon, not SCREAM or YELL. David is one of the best drummers ever. I compare him to Lars and Tommy Lee. Korn is about talent and without Head they will still have the talent. Munky is a better guitarist than Head anyway. So is Wes, so I say Wes goes to Korn since Limp Bizkit's going nowhere fast. This Otep guy doesn't even play a 7 String does he? I doubt it. Otep is probably one of those HARDCORE HEAVY METAL CORE bands haha, if they are why did Korn get him...and he's not a member of Korn. He's pretty much a person who plays when someone is injured haha.

i agree with wow, otep is one of those hardcore band, they suck and who ever says korn sucks. you oviously were a korn fan once in your life, but your mad because they dont do any of that craappy a$$ music, patterson is a replacement for the euro tour, once the cd is out and they hit US, there going to get rid of him, playing huge crowds and venues like korn does, the otep guy has never done, so he should be thankfull for them givin him that opportunity, they have sold millions of albums all over the world, so even if they are done, well they are wll of for life, so f*** OFF...korn haters,, by the way slipknot rules too...... korn kid and a maggot

i am a huge korn fan but i don't understand their aversion to playing with a new guitarist. head is gone. we are over it. they should get over it. just find a new guy that loves to play and it will be all good. no need to hide him.
