I'm giddy, I just read the session journals on their site for the making of "Still Life", "Blackwater Park" and "Deliverance/Damnation" records.....Bloody brilliant.
You can tell English isnt their primary language (tiny gramar errors) but somehow his being so fluent in another language just emphasizes their natural genius. How ballsy is it to come from half way across the globe and do music in a tongue thats not your own......f***ing bold.

"Deliverance" was great, I've been listening to it and "Damnation" quite a bit (none of their albums get boring.....EVER!)....The death vocals on this one have alot of conviction, not that they were lacking before but Ackerfeldt sounds particularly malicious on "the Grand Conjuration".

I haven't heard th Grand Conjuration yet. Going to SOTU tomorrow (Denver) so I'll finally see my favorite band (About f***ing time!) I can't wait for Ghost Reveries, I hope its better than Damnation which I didn't like much except for Windowpane. My favorite albums are Morningrise and MAYH, though I'm still gonna be waiting outside the record store so I can buy this f***in album.
