Rammstein To De-lock Unreleased Material

The following messages have been posted on Rammstein's official website:
Good news: Rammstein are currently working on a successor, which will presumably be called "Reise, Reise (Vol.2)" The management's statement was: "After the production period of the last album, there were many songs which did not find a place on "Reise, Reise" due to dramaturgical reason but are now completed. This is not unusual. As "Ohne Dich" derived from the production of "Mutter", many songs have been sitting to be completed for a year and shall now come to light. Which songs remains to be seen and is up to the band only." A co-worker of the record company remembers: "When we were introduced to the tracks of "Reise, Reise", many fascinating songs were among them, which were suddenly missing on the album. Among others I remember one song, which we all believed to bet he first single of the album. The song was "Rosenrot" and when we had to realize that the band changed their minds and it did not even make it on to the album, we were speechless. The album was perfect nevertheless, but their enormous self-confidence surprised us. Ever since, we hope to see some of the songs from back then released and I am happy that the band could agree on that." During Rammstein's short stop at a studio in Berlin, apparently 2 - 3 additional songs were recorded. The mixing session of the album, which is supposed to be released this fall, already began.
To mark the event of the opening concert of four sold-out shows at the berlin Wuhlheide, Rammstein introduced the first song of their new succeeding album "Reise, Riese (Vol.2)", anticipated in October, live on front of a home town audience. The song "Benzin", presented with fire fountains goshing 20 meters into the air, was euphorically met by the fans and visibly delighted the band

if you like this band I would imagine so.....
I picked up "Mutter" more or less on a whim in 2001 and loved it but their 2 previous albums didnt impress me so much.........
I've only heard bits of their newest one at store audio listening posts, I'm too broke to check it out any further than that, so what do you all think of the newest one? I'm curious.

you know, rammstein will always make good music, there were songs on all of their albums that were better than others, including Reise Reise, what I like about the latter is that the album flows together, and i dont find my self skipping songs like I do most bands (except in the case of Los, which turned my then girlfriend on) hopefully vol. 2 will flow as well, but not likely seeing how more than half are cuts from the production of the last one.

OK... whoever said that they were the biggest Rammstein fan I'm sorry but I might be bigger. I first saw them when I was 13 in Palo Alto, CA on their first U.S. tour. Got to meet and hang with the band (and KMFDM) at that show. Saw them at the now defunct Maritime hall in S.F. with Soulfly (their first tour as a band). Actually if you guys have ever been to that French Rammstein site that has bootleg live videos, they have that Soulfly/Rammstein show. I'm in the front row right next to Richard. Some of the quality sucks but it's still a treat to see it. They even did Stripped live. The date was 6/20/99. Let me know if you guys can find it. Yeah so basically, seen them every single time they have come to my area. I drove to Boise, ID to see them at this small club I used to play at when I lived in ID. The only time that I didn't see them was when they played with all of those sh**ty bands on the Pledge of Alliegence tour. I had just seen them in the city by the bay a few months earlier and they played for 3 hours straight. No way I was going to pay 50 bucks to see them for 30-45 minutes. I also have a Giant Rammstein Tattoo on my shoulder that flows into a cultural college. BUT regardless of what I might be rambling on about, you still rule in my book because you are in fact a Rammstein fan. Just not as big as I am.
P.S. I like all of their albums, and yes Reise Reise and Mutter had a nice flow to it, but the first two were just good music. It's hard to find a band that you can just put the cd on and listen to the whole dang thing!
Prost und Tschuess!
