No Ministry Tour Until 2006

According to a recent online posting by Angie Jourgensen, the wife of MINISTRY mainman Al Jourgensen, Al has remixed a track called "Enchanted Fist Thought" for THE MELVINS/JELLO BIAFRA project. "Then he was working on some interesting theme songs for two TV shows. Al calls it 'cop rock.'
"Next up, Al is producing a young musician, songwriter, producer from Detroit SPYDER BABY (see www.spyderbaby.net), and just finished a remix of a track entitled 'Bitter'.
"Then, Mr. Gibby Haynes came to Hell Paso for a spell, and he and Al and Mike Scaccia and Ginger Baker (ooops, I mean Mark Baker) worked together in the studio for 10 days. It was awesome! I'll keep you posted on where all of that will lead as things unfurl themselves.
"Unfortunately, our agent in Europe could not make a tour happen for MINISTRY this summer, which totally SUCKS and bummed me out for quite a while, but everything happens for a reason, and it looks like Al will spend the summer in the studio working on some new stuff for a couple of projects, so it is all good.
"We cannot WAIT to get back on the road again, but it won't probably be until next year, the Year of the Dog (which is Al's chinese astrological sign)."
