As they continue work on a new album, Lacuna Coil are to have most of their back catalogue re-released by Century Media on July 25 in the UK/Europe. The records involved are the albums 'In a Reverie' (1999) and 'Unleashed Memories' (2001), plus a record featuring the tracks from EPs 'Lacuna Coil' (1998) and 'Halflife' (2000).

Nah. Besides Christina Scabbia is twice the vocalist range wise and don't even get me started on the playing style/quality of Lacuna Coil vs Evanesence...Lacuna Coil doesnt sound like Linkin Park with a different singer as Evanescence does....Then the lyrics, which are pretty much even, but really Evanescence should have an edge here since Lacuna Coils first language is ITALIAN!!!!

Heres the clencher though, I don't really like either band that much and I know they both have worked long and hard but pound for pound Lacuna Coil deserve the same amount of success as Evanescence 3 fold....as Lacuna Coil IS the better band.

i was all about this band when nobody knew about them. they have all kinds of talent but some of their songs were kind of awkward and had uneeded parts to them. they have gotten better with age though. not exactly metal but they do pack lots of metal elements in their sound so maybe its a fair label.
