Exmordium Releasing "Into The Sepulchral Spectrum" Via Tridoid
Tridroid Records is pleased to announce that "Into the Sepulchral Spectrum" by Exmordium will be the first album to be released as part of the Tridroid Lost Releases series.
In the spring of 2016, Tridroid Records changed ownership from Andrew Rehberger to Christine Kelly. Because of the changeover and Andrew’s tragic death soon after, a few releases were buried in the shuffle and remained unknown. After organizing the back catalog, Christine uncovered them. Her goal is to give them the recognition that they didn’t have before and to dedicate them to Andrew’s memory.
Tridroid Lost Releases will donate all proceeds to an organization close to Andrew’s heart, the Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Exmordium’s Evan French and Evan Page came together at the end of 2011, melding furious black metal atmosphere with melodic instrumentation and classical guitar. In 2012, the duo recorded the "Disembodied Souls," "Monolith of Dread," and "Prophets of Doom" demos, the last of which featured Jacob Yelle. "Apocryphal Deities of Ageless Stone" was unleashed in 2013, the last of the recordings featuring Yelle.
Soon after, Exmordium recruited Carl Knutson and began preparations for "Into the Sepulchral Spectrum," recorded at 14:59 studios in 2015. The CDs were pressed and the band were given a share of copies, but the rest remained in boxes, waiting to be heard. The album will be officially released on July 7th, 2017.
