Malamorte was formed in 2009 and is the a side project of Alex Nunziati (Lord Vampyr, ex founder/singer of Theatres des Vampires, Cain, Nailed God, Shadowsreign, Sepolcrum, ex-VII Arcano).
On "Satan Goes To Heaven To Destroy The Kingdom Of God," the band presents unblemished occult heavy metal with doom influence. Plaintive yet stirring vocals influenced by King Diamond meet up with the outstanding, dark atmosphere of early Death SS classics, with a little touch of Black Metal. Doom melodies and dark organ sounds give a decent obscure charm to the album.
