H.I.M. Tap Andy Wallace To Mix Next Album
Finnish goth-metallers H.I.M. have reportedly tapped Andy Wallace (KORN, LINKIN PARK, LIMP BIZKIT, SLAYER) to mix their brand-new album, tentatively due in the fall via Sire. The mixing sessions will take place in New York City beginning this week.
As previously reported, H.I.M. recorded the follow-up to 2003's "Love Metal" at Los Angeles' Paramour studios According to singer Ville Valo, the upcoming CD, which is being produced by Tim Palmer (who worked on the band's last album), will feature "really fast songs but with a melodic punky MISFITS feel to them."
H.I.M.'s forthcoming album will be preceded by a single release in August. Ville Valo and his cohorts have also lined up a handful of European and Japanese festival appearances during the summer.
H.I.M. and HMC (Helsinki Music Company) have reached an agreement to have all future H.I.M. albums released in Finland via the band's own Heartagram label. HMC is reportedly owned by Niko Nordström (former General Manager of BMG Finland) and Asko Kallonen (former A&R exec at BMG Finland). Kallonen has worked with H.I.M. since their first EP, "666 Ways to Love: Prologue".
H.I.M. frontman Ville Valo is expected to sing backing vocals on one or two songs on the forthcoming BLOODHOUND GANG album. No further information is currently available.

Terry, that question is for little bam wannabees, HIM have some quality stuff as does Cky, but HIM do not deserve all the hype they get, and as for HIM being for little fag kids, i do get p***ed when i see little posers wear the heartagram, but you can blame all the terrible Uk magazines and bam margera for that, as for the music, its pretty good.

Every kid i see with a heartagram on the attire i ask them to name 5 songs and they cant. f***ing posers. Bam Margera is the only reason H.I.M. is known with the little skater kids.

Personally I like both bands, but for me H.I.M. is better , and i hate it when i ask people about the heartagram and they say it is about bam margera. If u ask me if i know 5 songs i can name 60. I think bam is a poser. he tries to be a rocker or sometin. But his show is kinda of funny.

Bam is the poster child for fake skater kids. The guy can skate, but he's now screwed it up with the show and sh*t. Like they need a face anyway? What, is Tony Hawk considered the old guy now?

i think HIM and CKY are great bands. Their lyrics are amazing and ville has an awesome voice. but with canada no one knows who the hell they are, they only know them as bam's band, which is pretty sad, because bam is too c***y with the way he represents them. I still like the bands, can anyone tell me some tour dates for them.
