Sentient Parts With Bassist / Vocalist Ranjit Ranawaya
Calgary-based group Sentient just checked in with the following update about working on a new album and parting ways with bassist / vocalist Ranjit:
"Fans, friends... we told you it was a crazy world, and today we bring you some crazy news. We write you all today to tell you that our brother, and founding member Ranjit Ranawaya, has decided to part ways with Sentient.
"Life changes as time goes on, and we wish our brother the best of luck and success on whatever road he takes. It has been a blast. It has been one hell of an adventure. We thank you Ranjit, for being a part of this vision. Sentient will never be the same again.
"Fans, friends.... We of Sentient have been honored to share the stage with some brilliant musicians over the years. It has been a very, very long road....and we are far from finished. We have an album to record and release, Loud As Hell to level, and a huge secret show yet to be announced.
"We are now openly auditioning for a new bassist, bassist/vocalist, or if need be both. We are looking for a permanent, full time, contributing member(s). The new member will write and record their own bass lines.
"Anyone who wishes to audition please contact Edmund Saulnier or Scott Tanner. For those of our fans and friends that are worried, we do have a temporary, fill in member already getting rehearsed.
"So have no fear. The album will reign supreme. The shows will be unreal. Our time is now. We are here."
