Steelfall Announces "The Event Horizon" Release
Steelfall's story started in 2016, when guitarist/vocalist Sérgio Melo (formerly of Hourswill) decided to invite a few friends to play a mixture of classic heavy metal and modern thrash.
The Lisbon-based group, rounded by vocalist David Pais, guitarist João Quintai, bassist Pedro Martinho and drummer João Morais, is now ready to release first album, “The Event Horizon," coming out on April 7th.
Record label Raging Planet describes this release as "a metallic guitar-orientated album that incorporates elements of heavy, thrash and death-metal and is full of catchy riffs and great choruses. The music can be linked to bands like Trivium, Arch Enemy and Nevermore, but Steelfall cannot be labelled as mere imitators as they bring their own touch and personal influences to the table, resulting in powerful, effective and refreshing songs that will surely surprise fans of the aforementioned bands and metal music in general."
