Harken Calling It Quits, Posts Final Track

Wesley Wyatt and Conner Dugan from Texas prog metal outfit Harken just issued this announcement about deciding to call it a day:

"Sometime last year, after the release of 'Shira,' we got together to discuss the future of Harken. We did some writing to see if we still had any chemistry in the band and, while we did enjoy what we wrote, we decided that continuing in the same fashion as we've always done wouldn't lead to anything productive any time soon.

"Instead of just building up more and more expectation and failure to deliver, we've decided to hang it up with Harken. We had a lot of fun with this project and made quite a few new friends of fans and musicians alike. It was a great learning experience and we're thankful for it. We also can't forget to thank Chris Todd for his amazing contributions vocally.

"We'd like to leave you with the final instrumental we wrote. You haven't heard the last of us as individuals but thank you for all your support."
