Varego Releases "Phantasma" Video In Tribute To Giallo Flicks

Post-prog / sludge group Varego just released a new official video clip as a tribute to Italian Giallo horror flicks. “Phantasma” is a short film combining the scary and high tension atmospheres typical of the Italian tradition, made of distinctive shadows plays, color,s and ghostly landscapes.

Varego comments: “We’re thrilled to have teamed-up with our close friend Ivan, to realize our own tribute to this movies scene. Though our music is mostly known for its space and sci-fi themes, certainly Italian tradition of Giallo films (not speaking also of their soundtracks) is well established within our influences thanks to masters as Fulci, Bava and Argento”.

The song “Phantasma” is taken from Varego's new album "Epoch" released by Argonauta Records and was written and directed by Ivan G. Ferrera.
