Morta Skuld Announces New Album "Wounds Deeper Than Time"

Reinvigorated U.S. death metal maestros Morta Skuld just completed work on a new studio album and first full-length release since the "Surface" album in 1997.

Titled "Wounds Deeper than Time," the band has reunited with original label Peaceville Records for this latest opus, set for release on February 17th, 2017.

"Wounds Deeper Than Time" presents Morta Skuld’s finely honed mix of power and brutality with a foot firmly planted in the old school, recorded mixed and mastered at Mercenary studios by Scott Creekmore.

Cover art comes courtesy of Patrick Kachellek, who created the cover for the band’s comeback EP, "Serving Two Masters" in 2014. Joining longstanding member and founder David Gregor (Guitar/vocals) for this album are Scott Willecke (Guitar), AJ Lewandowski (bass) & Eric House (drums).
