Bethlehem Issues New Song "Die Dunkelheit Darbt"
The black metal pioneers from Bethlehem will release their new album, simply titled "Bethlehem," on December 2nd via Prophecy Productions. Produced by the band and Markus Stock (Alcest) at Studio E (Helrunar, Secrets of the Moon), "Bethlehem" is the band's eighth full-length record, and its release celebrates the 25th anniversary of the group.
After breaking up last year, Bethlehem returns with a revamped lineup featuring in its ranks bassist Bartsch, drummer Wolz, guitarist Karzov and new singer Onielar, from none other than German black metal stalwarts Darkened Nocturn Slaughtercult.
In advance of the album's release, today new song “Die Dunkelheit Darbt” comes online and can be heard below. Bartsch comments that the song "breaks away from the once-strong trademarks of a unique subgenre destined for pure darkness and occultism. The End is Nigh? Sure, why not? And we love it.”
