Septicflesh Working On New Album For 2017 Release
Continuing a streak of top-notch albums from "Communion" in 2008 (reviewed here) to "The Great Mass" in 2011 (reviewed here) and latest full-length "Titan," Greek outfit Septicflesh is looking to continue building on those successes with a new full-length release now in the works. The band comments:
"As Septicflesh digs deeper into the making of the bands new forthcoming album (due late spring 2017) the band's famous weapon in the form of the orchestral score has been confirmed by the Filmharmonic orchestra of Prague.
"Once again, they have confirmed the continuation of their successful collaboration after the massive success of 'Communion,' 'The Great Mass,' and 'Titan.' The symphonies of the new album will be recorded in 18-19 of December in Prague, under the supervision of guitarist and score writer Christos Antoniou."

Titan was a masterpiece. With no updates from Shade Empire, Dimmu Borgir, and a lackluster Fleshgod Apocalypse album, this is some excellent news.
