Woe Of Tyrants Working On New Album
It's been six years since Woe Of Tyrants released the "Threnody" album, and now new material is finally in the works. The band commetns:
"Fall is here and the grind begins! Ever since Woe of Tyrants was born, our members have written in the fall. Most musicians I know personally love the fall and winter months for writing music. I guess cold weather and winter depression spreads creativity throughout the world! 'Threnody' was written against a deadline, all between September-October of 2009. 'Kingdom of Might' was written throughout the fall of 2008 and the first songs written for that album ('Seven Braids of Samson' and 'Break the Fangs of the Wicked') were both written the fall before, in 2007.
"I hope ya'll get where we are going with this *wink wink* Progress has been made in the few short months that we have decided to start writing new material, we have been tossing around ideas and being patient with what is being developed. We are battling impatience but the time put into the material really helps perfect everything. We have a vision here, but we can't settle for anything less than our best and the excitement has steadily been growing since we started. The bubble burst this past week and things are naturally falling into place just like the good old days. ;)
"This post is a friendly reminder to fans that Fall is here and things have been picking up! Kids are in school, circumstances allow for more time to be set aside, and we need it! There is more work to be done and we have been listening and talking to so many since announcing we are kicking around some tunes again.. Impatience doesn't just grow within ourselves when it comes to new material! We love you all and we are eternally grateful that we have such a immense group of die-hard fans that are as supportive as they are impatient. Ya'll been waiting 7 years, that's love right there."
