Tour Dates Announced By Santa Maria

Santa Maria, the new band featuring ex-White Empress vocalist Mary Zimmer (Luna Mortis), announced a string of tour U.S. tour dates, with Minnesota's Discord Curse in support. To help with the costs, the band has launched an Indiegogo pre-sale crowdfunding campaign at this location.

Guitarist/composer Erik Tyler had been busy writing music for a special project, but he required just the right vocalist. Just as that need became imminent, Mary Zimmer left her band, White Empress.

Right away, she felt at home with Erik's work, and her vocals and lyrics fit his vision perfectly. Santa Marta was born.

With primitive South and Central American themes, mixed with a touch of European Catholic imagery, the band's striking imagery combines a contemporary guerrilla motif with stark tribal maquillage.

Santa Marta has solidified it's touring lineup as follows:
