Strychnia Comments On Album's Fate After Canceled Kickstarter Campaign

Strychnia just issued this statement online via Facebook about work progressing on an impending new album release:

"So if you're wondering what the hell happened to this new album of ours... it's still coming. We really apologize for the delay as unexpected events of misfortune have made this a complicated project.

"For those who don't already know - Rory and I (Kev) are funding this album entirely between just the two of us. I'm sure many of you know that recording is not cheap, along with the artwork, merch, etc.

"We tried the Kickstarter campaign but fell short of our goal, so we have been working hard to acquire the funds needed to finish this album. The recording is actually VERY near finished, so as soon as we get back in the studio - we'll be done quickly.

"Thank you all so much for supporting us and sticking with us through all these years. It's been great, and we don't plan on quitting anytime soon. After the completion of this album, we will work on completing our line-up for live shows. Trust me it would be a dream come true to tour and take the stage before all of you guys!"
