She is batty beyond all definition, she pontificates about her "ART" non-bloody-stop...she can scream with the best of them...I'll own up to that, she has pretty fierce vox, with emotional instability to match.....BUT she acts like she is above ALL....Easily one of the most dogmatic performers i've ever seen live.....Did Dimebag ever claim to be THE best?...NO! but we all knew he was!!...humble is beyond that woman....who cares if she uses coke, im sure at least a third of the bands I admire do....What I'm concerned about is her ego....go to the website if you think i'm overreacting...it would be hilarious if she werent being completely straight faced serious....alright, enough im done, i feel better, im sorry for all slipknot fans going to that show not braced for the opener.....their going to get an ear-full of self important Bullshhit

wow this is kewl but somepeople may disagree with it as they hate it because when me and my friends go to concerts people wait outside to boo at them or do something stuiped to piss us off and we will hate to take action like confront them and tell them they can hate them but they don't have to do this stuiped s** to make them look like fools all the times and just let us listen what we like and let them listen to what they like and we won't have any problems with stuff like this

She is not stuck on herself she just takes her music seriously and FYI I'll be there in Greenbay To see her and Slipknot, instead of minneapolis to just see Slipknot. Maybe if you pulled your head out of your a$$ and actually looked at the fking pain and emotion in her music then you won't have such a problem seeing why it is good. Fuc Ya'll Freak

Otep has some real talent, and she knows how to use it. i dont believe that otep/paris/nick s-hit for a second...but i'd like to as its funny as hell.
nick probably wouldnt have to be drunk to lose i fight to otep. i've had my share of fights and i wouldnt wanna fight that woman. she's tough. and for those who's said she cant sing, if you listen to her CD's you do get to hear her sing. just because she doesnt limit herself to one manner of self expression doesnt mean she has no "musical dynamic" as i remember someone putting it.
as for her art. she's not afraid to be herself. her fans love what she does out there on the stage, and here on the net, ive been to her site quite a few times and i'm not seeing this overblown ego, or much of anything "dogmatic" at all. i see a woman expressing her art and ppl appreciating it. whats wrong with that? if its not your style then, hell, listen to something else. dong effin disrespect what other ppl create and consume. anyone who does seems to think they are "above ALL" enough to place judgement where it most likely isnt appreciated.

Otep has some really good stuff, the songs are heavy and she can sing. Otep is better than most of the bands Slipknot had open on their last tour, especially Gizmachi. The only real problem I have with Otep is she talks tooooo much about her poems. They just need to play and leave, cut down on the poem recietals.

This is terrible news for Slipknot fans. Make sure you come late... you don't want to listen to that coked up b**** for 42 minutes straight, babbling about sh** she doesn't know about. If you ever get the chance... aske her why she can't stay onstage for more than 3 minutes at a time without dipping beind the set.
