Kuolemanlaakso Posts "The World's Intolerable Pain" Lyric Video

Kuolemanlaakso just revealed a lyric video for new track "The World's Intolerable Pain," which is included on the upcoming "M. Laakso – Vol. 1: The Gothic Tapes" album set for international release on August 26th via Svart Records (reviewed here).

Says Kuolemanlaakso mastermind Laakso about the song and its accompanying video: "'The World's Intolerable Pain' is a reflection of my anguish towards the time that we are living in right now. The song combines my own existentialist crisis and the inflammable political state of the world to a meager ray of hope for a better tomorrow in the ever-growing shadow of desperation.

"The entity is sugarcoated with catchy melodies and gothic aesthetics. It's definitely one of my personal favorites from the album. One of my favorite singers Helena Haaparanta (Crimfall, VALO) guest-stars on the track as well as on the video, directed by Lasse Hartikainen (Michael Monroe, Santa Cruz etc.). It was an absolute pleasure to work with them."

The new album's full track listing is as follows:

1. Children of the Night
2. Roll the Dice with the Devil
3. Where the River Runs Red
4. The World's Intolerable Pain
5. She Guides Me in My Dreams
6. No Absolution
7. Deeper into the Unknown
8. My Last Words
