Corey Taylor Smacks Phone Out Of Fan's Hand During Show

Slipknot is currently out on the road performing a rescheduled tour that was pushed back due to Corey Taylor undergoing surgery.

During one stop of the trek, a fan at the front of the show apparently had some very important texting to do, which resulted in a less-than-pleased Taylor making a pretty strong statement about his feelings on texting during a live performance. Check out what he does below.

This predictably led to many taking to their own phones to voice displeasure, which created a long string of back and forth Tweets between Taylor and fans (check out the first few after the jump).

I remember when I could go to a show and be captivated for a band's entire set.
An outside possibility is that the kid wasn't into the band.
However, it's unlikely that he would have been on the front row if he wasn't a Slipknot fan.
So, another more likely possibility is that Corey's performance wasn't that captivating.
I long for a return to a Henry Rollins (circa Black Flag era) style of vocalist who displays a raw, animalistic, visceral power in his stage presence.

Corey Taylor has zero right to do that. If my phone was broken that be distraction of property and that's a crime and I would press charges.
