Chugun Announces Music Video Concept Competition Winner

Chugun - which recently signed to Sliptrick Records and released the "Virus" album last year - had been running a competition to see which fan could come up with the best video idea, and now the winning concept has been announced. The band comments:

"We've received a bunch of ideas for the competitions from different places around the world -
some of those ideas were great, some of them made us smile, but there can only be one winner,
and the winner is Rhys Stevenson from England! Now he has a Chugun T-Shirt and a CD on the way to him. You can read his winning idea below."

Song: "Unholy Warrior"

Set in the ancient port of Jaffa, crusader warriors come face to face with a legion of Islamic warriors lead by Saladin, they draw their weapons and stand glaring at each other on the steps in front of the 'St. Peter's Church' in the background. Whilst the battle waits to start, Chugun are jamming / practising in a room in Tel Aviv to the song 'Unholy Warrior'. When Denise enters the room, picks up the mic and sings the first word of the lyrics, simultaneously the crusader and Islamic forces charge and battle.

When Chugun finish and the battle rages in Jaffa, Chugun receive a phone call from the guys in Orphaned Land (or any other available Israeli band) who want to play beachball with them and so, Chugun drive to Jaffa only to come face-to-face with a horde of fighting warriors.
Immediately Denise steps out of the car and shouts in Hebrew 'stop fighting you unholy warriors, make peace!'. The warriors stop fighting, turn to look at Denise who now has the band standing beside her, equidistant from the warriors on the other side is Saladin who looks on in fury as his forces lay down their weapons. Denise stands up to Saladin and requests that they stop fighting in the name of peace and wants to show him something.

Saladin follows her to the beach, where waiting to play beach volleyball are Orphaned Land (or as said another available Israeli band) and the other band's vocalist explains that just like music, sport has enabled people to stop thinking about war, culture clashes and other negatives between nations. Saladin likes this and sends his warriors back to Turkey whilst he plays beach volleyball with his newfound Israeli friends. Before proclaiming himself as a 'unholy warrior' who feels he will leave a lasting legacy and a respected person throughout the Middle East and North Africa.
